My slow come back to showing/collecting

After a long debate and some emotional undoing. I have decided to go back into collecting and photo showing. Yes, I will be looking for the models I once had, but only a limited amount. Don't get me wrong, I love the older molds, but they are sometimes very hard to find, depending on the mold.

For about a year now, I was at the point in the hobby to just throw away all the models I have and say to hell with the hobby. But, my love for the horse was just to great. Models were my savior when I was growing up. They kept me out some seriously bad trouble that could have landed me in a women's prison for life. When trouble called, all I wanted to do was play with my plastic ponies in the dirt. Imagine riding them and having a big ole horse farm.

As time went on, and I got married, my collecting slowed down. There were a few years where I didn't get any models. Then there were years where I bought well over 30. I know personally that my dream collection will stay a dream. But hey, at least I can create that dream via pictures and say that it is my dream.

Yes, I do have a file on my computer that has well over 100 thousand photo's it. No I do NOT use them for anything but to just drool over. Some photos are of models that have tack on them, but most are of Original Finish. There are a few that are of customized and resin models.

Like I said, those photo's wont ever be uploaded or used in any manor.

And now your wondering about the emotional side to my problem. Well, It did start with the fire. I didn't let anyone(including the hubby) how upset I was. I did some value figuring with the current values to all the models and I lost well over $500,000.00 worth of models. So yea, I was severely upset, but I kept it in. Kept telling myself that collecting wasn't worth the it and crap like that. When in all reality, it is. It is worth it when you LOVE the hobby. I love getting new models and smelling them(I know "Ewww"), I feel like a kid again at Christmas when I get a package in the mail and open it up.

There were so many times I begged my husband to just take the tote in which the models were in to the dumpster and keep it there, but he didn't comply and I am thankful he didn't do it. So now I have 2 1/2 totes full of models, but no shelves to put them on. Don't worry, I will get some. Just have other things to take care of first.

As for me getting back into live showing? Nope. Not that I don't want to, It is just my health limits that. Plus my models never do good anyway, so that put a damper on it some. I think the only live show I would attend would have to be held here where I live, Well, better get off of here, Have photo's to name and upload to a few shows online.

Facebook is getting really bad

As you all know I am on Facebook and guess what? I am in jail again. Yes AGAIN! Why? Cause I said "Damn that monkey needs to be in it's cage". Some fucking snowflake flagged it as hate speech. don't worry, I am fighting it this time. The last time, I let it go, but not this time. I am so damn sick and tire of people reporting innocent comments as hate speech, racist and shit like that. Those people need to grow the fuck up. This isn't grade school where you can run and tell the teacher that someone hurt your feelings. GROW THE FUCK UP!!

I guess your momma was your best friend instead of a mother. Hell parents today are so pussy whooped and afraid of the damn system that they let their brats be disrespectful brats. And that is all that they are, Spoiled privileged brats.

WOW......

I can't believe it has been a year since I wrote anything. Well here is a long update..............

First off, NO, I didn't go to Breyerfest this year. Reason is cause we bought a house. We had to use the money I had saved up for part of the down payment. 
Then in February, the storage unit that all my belongings were stored at burned down. So I lost EVERYTHING there. 

Fast forward 2 months, I get involved in a wreck. Thankfully it was all in my favor. I got a new car out of this and money to catch up on our mortgage on. Then, I get a letter from a lawyer telling me that since we had a mortgage account with Ditech, We maybe getting money out of them. 
Yea, I will believe that when I see it. 

Plus I am finally seeing who my "Friends" are on FB. About 4 months ago, a certain person put up a "Go Fund Me" to get money for food and what not, She got over $1500.00 in donations. I put one up for a mere $500.00 and not one person has donated. Yea, I am about to say screw it and just delete every damn thing on FB and call it fucking quits. 

I am getting tired of all the two faced back stabbing shit. Makes me sick.

NAN and BF has come and gone................

It seems that I keep forgetting that I actually have a blog. Anyway, yes NAN and BF have come and gone. Again, I couldn't attend............BUT that don't mean I didn't get to watch it and enjoy the sights. Plus Breyer once again put out the "Surprise" model out on a mold that I love. The Smarty Jones mold. And believe it or not, some that are up for sale are actually reasonably priced to where I can afford them. Yes, I will be getting all 4.

I already booked my room and am so ready to go. The hubby and I already talked about it. Of course he is none to happy about it, but for once I was able to throw some of his own medicine back into his face. You see, Next month he will be away from home for 3 weeks. Leaving me here alone. So, I figured that I will leave HIM alone for 3 days next year. He had no argument after that. 

I figured also that the ONLY time I will use my credit card is for gas, eats and the motel room. I am saving up so by the time BF gets here, I will have close to $3000.00 to buy with.

OOOOOOHHHHHH I CAN'T WAIT!!!  

Hinton Inn.........what a joke

Good morning everyone,
Today I am going to give a review that will kill all reviews. Daniel and I are currently staying at the Hinton Inn, in Hinton Oklahoma. The hotel is nice and the beds are comfy, but that is where the good points stop. 

Here is where it gets bad: 

First off, NO ONE told us that with extended stays, you CAN NOT have any pets(as we all know I have 3 dogs). 4 nights is the max limit for staying with pets. Plus, if you have a dog or cat that sheds like crazy, be sure to have a lint brush or some sort of lint/fur removal device. Cause the maids are fur haters. The one who cleaned our room claims that there is dog fur EVERYWHERE. Uhmmmm No there isn't. The bitch just wants to bitch and grip cause she is a dog hater. 
The manager tried to tell me that also our GSD was a threat to other guests. No she isn't. She hasn't made any attempt to bite or attack anyone. In fact, I keep her on a close leash. She has growled at one person, but no way in hell did she attempt to attack. I had her pinned to where she couldn't move. 

Oh don't get to excited over the channel selection. It is the basic channels that Direct TV has to offer. Which is NOT very enticing to watch unless you plan on watching the NFL, golf and all sports channels.

There were a few times I had thought about letting my 13 y/o pom do an accident, but decided against it. Which is a good thing. 

The noise from the interstate is not bad IF you stay on the east side of the hotel. Parking is abundant and there is a Sonic within walking distance. 

Besides the manager and the maids being total bitches our stay here was quite nice. 

As I write this, this is our last day here. I am hoping to find another place to stay until we either get our trailer moved here or ECU goes through and approves our request for a loan for another 5th wheel.

As you can see, there is NO dog fur. I know one thing, the pipes were dusty. LOL Yea, I checked. 

The photo above is yes the sink in the bathroom. Those burn marks were there when we got here, but yet, we are being accused of it. We went outside and braved the freaking cold air for a smoke. 

So, there ya have it. As for a star rating? 3 stars for the room being nice, but 1 star for the management and maids. 

Can of worms has been opened

Yup you read right. I have opened a can of worms or should I say disturbed the wasp nest. 
One of the tenets here at the RV park recently told our neighbor that her RV was "Grandfathered" to the property by the previous owner. Uhm, Unless our landlord signed the same "Note" then her trailer is NOT grandfathered. She told me that her rent can not go up. I showed her the notice that I had received and she said that the rent increase don't apply to her. It says "All RV and Mobile home occupants rent WILL go up $50.00 on Feb 1st" 
Who does she think she is? a fucking god? I told her it said ALL and she still argued. So I texted our landlord and he even said that their rent was going up. Hell they owe the landlord over $1000.00 cause her lazy ass live in refuses to get a job. Hell, every job he does get, he intentionally gets hurt. 
Plus she said that she is having the local sheriff help them get the money. I don't see where it is the sheriff's job to get the money. Why don't Charlie(her lazy ass live in) get his brother to send them the money? Oh wait, he was suppose to come here back in November and live with them. The idiot can't even leave the state of Washington cause he has an ankle monitor on. How fucking stupid do they think we are? Obviously Daniel and I are 2 of the MOST stupid people here at the park. Plus she thinks it funny to let her puppies run all over the place, jumping on people and NOT disciplining them when they do. I tell them "down" when they jump on me. 
I guess I better let things simmer down for awhile and just forget what has happened. Personally, I find it VERY unfair that while they and Tom(their neighbor) don't have an increase in the rent can just sit back and fucking laugh about everyone else having to pay more. TOTALLY UNFAIR!!!!

Oh also they are pissed at me cause I refuse to give them the password to my internet. Unless they pay part of the bill(which they wouldn't be able to do), then the answer is and always will be "NO"

Am I wrong?

Recently on FB, I got into a huge fight over a video of a woman going onto a mans drive way and asking him why did he have the Nazi flag flying. The man told the woman that it was none of her business and asked her to leave. She refused for a bit, but then did leave. What the whole argument was over was the fact that I said that she was in the wrong for going up this persons drive way un-invited. Plus I was called a racist Nazi lover just cause I support Trump. Now don't go off on me now until I have to say. I DON'T support everything he says or does. There are some things he has done that I don't agree with. But obviously these people who attacked me, think that I believe the sun sets in Trumps ass. I asked these people where would our great nation be right now IF Hillary had gotten the presidency? We most likely would be living under Sharia Law. Which I would NOT be living under. 

To set the record straight, I hate the nazi flag. Yes, I know what it stands for and believe it or not, I have YET to see it in the White House. So those who say that Trump supports that flag are lying.
I am NOT against the LBG either. I just don't believe that transgender people fall in that category. 

Also, I was told that my opinion was no longer needed on ANY post. Fuck them, I will even though I want to crawl into my little cubby hole and just let the world go on without me. No I am NOT suicidal. Just want to hide. But I can't. It isn't right to let those twat waffles scare me. 

I did notice my friends list count go from 1480 down to 1470 in less then 6 minutes. I know who they were and yes they blocked me. Which really didn't hurt my feelings. 

The time has come..............

The time has come down to saying good-bye to a hobby I once loved. Yes, I am leaving the model horse hobby. After the fall out yesterday over the prices of models and how one person took upon herself to start calling me names, I can't and WONT take it anymore. I have sold a few of my models, but the rest will be destroyed. Why you ask, well that is cause no matter how many times I put them up on eBay or on model horse sales pages(and other selling sites), Someone is always reporting them as fraudulent postings. I have been banned from 3 auction sites and have been warned with a few others. I tried selling on Facebook. That in itself is a joke. A big one at that. Nobody wants to buy what I have cause they believe in the rumors. So, I have decided to destroy the models. 

When the time comes, I will also deactivate my FB account and not return. I will however keep my Google + account, but that is it. Social media has brought out the worse in the hobby and they love to keep that nasty taste in ones mouth.  I could post a list of who those rotten people are, but the list is just to damn long. 

When I told Daniel about my decision, he was happy. He never has liked the hobby and proved it in so many ways. Now he won't have to worry about me traveling to different towns to show anymore. The only traveling I will be doing is to go see my family. 

Rant about the BF "Surprise" models

Boy do I enjoy getting told to "Fuck Off" in other words. But here goes............................Long rant

As many of you know I don't attend Breyer Fest. It's not that I don't want too, it's just that finances are the cause. 
In the past few years, Breyer has put out "Surprise" models with the cost of $75.00 to this years $85.00. Not bad for a limited run model (250 glossy and 250 matte). What is bad is when the person goes online and sets the price at $500 or greater. Uhm Sorry, but a limited edition IS NOT rare. I would soon rather pay that price for an OOAK than for a LE. 
2 years Breyer used 2 molds that I just happen to like(and conga) for their "Surprise" models and I can't even fucking afford them. Why? cause people are getting fucking greedy. Hell, lets buy this model for $85.00 then sell it for several hundred dollars. There are always some mindless buyer out there. Sorry, but unless that model is OOAK, I refuse to buy it. I don't give a damn if the person swears up and down that that is the price they paid at BF. 
The Roxy "Surprise" models are STILL well over $400 and they are over 3 years old. Sorry, but nope. It's not an OOAK.
They are just LE and the price gouging is the downfall of the owner.

The hatred continues..............

I can NOT believe such hatred going on over on FB. One user demands that anyone who voted/supported Trump MUST unfriend her cause she says that all supporters are bigots, homophobic etc. Well sorry hun, but I may support Trump, but I am very VERY far from being homophobic. In fact, I have several friends who are gay,lesbian etc and they are great friends. So does that make me homophobic? Oh hell no. 

People are saying that Republicans spew out hatred, when in reality it is the Democrats spewing out hatred. 

The person I am talking about is Malia Booker. She says that everyone is anti-gay etc. She needs to have a reality slap. Not everyone is anti- everything. Sheesh 

WOW, I am a bad person

I am so sorry for not blogging. I don't know why I keep forgetting that I have a blog. Anyway, I have some news. As many of you may have read on Facebook, I did go to the hospital recently. Those who read my posts there, know the story. Plus you also know that I am quitting the ever so nasty habit of smoking. Not only will it do me good, but pretty much everyone else around me. Plus I am making myself remember my mom. She pretty much died due to lack of oxygen when she was on oxygen(Posts from that tragedy are posted here). She also smoked bad. She smoked filterless cigarettes. Those were some serious nasty cigarettes. So I was thinking of starting another blog page, dedicated to my journey of the cigarette quitting. It will be a long and mind blowing experience that I will have to tackle. But I want to tackle it. So. I guess starting tomorrow(10/22/2016), I will be posting. LOL

It's been a while

Howdy everyone, Yea it's been awhile. been busy with crocheting, my ranch blog and just all around stuff. I did get 2 new models. The new Rhapsody and Quelle. Rhapsody looks like the female version of Black Beauty. Same markings and color. But hey, I'm not complaining, She is a perfect addition to my conga.

If your wondering, the pattern is called "Pinwheel". Mikey Silek from the Crochet Crowd posted a video tutorial on YouTube and I learned it by watching it. Nobody knew I was doing this afghan........LOL me and my surprizes. Love them. Here is how I planned for this queen sized afghan

The above photo shows the colors and how many motifs I was to make. When I started, the afghan was going to be a lapghan, but the hubby said no he wanted a blanket for the bed.........so now to photo 2

Well, here is the second half. As you can see, I pretty much doubled everything. What is funny is that I had 4 extra motifs. Why? your guess is as good as mine. But that's ok, I have plans for them. I just need to get to Michael's or Hobby Lobby and find a pillow form.

What a is this year going to be?

Recently, I had a friend email me, asking me if I was going to enter Breyer's photo show that they were holding. Uhmmmm.............NO!
Reason? My photo's are NOT up to that type of standard. Yes there are photo's out there that would put mine into the trash compactor(really that is where they need to be anyway). Reason I say that is cause I don't have the resources for better props, better tack etc. Money right now is severely restricted and what money I have left for myself, I have to end up spending on either more bill's or give it to Daniel so he can have his fountain coke fix. This year is going to be a blah year cause I won't be able to buy a whole lot. When I do buy a model, I have to buy it in secret. Then when I do get it here, take what I call "Quickie" photo's and then pack the model up and put it in storage BEFORE the hubby even knows about it.  I don't have time to get everything set up and then take a trillion pictures hoping that at least one of them is showable. So I show with what I can take and be done with it. I already done had a judge tell me that I really need to *in her words* "Fall off the face of the hobby world". Real encouraging isn't it? This judge dq'd all my photo's and put the reason why. I won't get into her reason's. Just that she won't be judging my photo's again........EVER.

Happy New Year.................

I know I am 18 days late, but up until now, I had nothing to say. 
In the past week in half, there has been 7 deaths to famous people I grew up either listening to(music) or watching on TV.  Sad to see 6 of those die from cancer and 1 dying from complications. 2016 started out sad for the fans. Anyway, I have decided to start another blog dedicated strictly to my models. Any newbies or winnings. Be sure to start following. I will post the link.

Major snow storm or a hoax?

Yup you read right, we are under a blizzard warning here in the Texas panhandle. They say we are suppose to get up to 3 feet of snow, but I don't see that happening. We might get 1 inch, but that's it. Plus this storm was suppose to arrive around 3:00pm but, it isn't here yet. I'm seeing this "Major" storm as a big ole hoax. It has happened before. They said "Yup we have a big snow storm headed for the Texas panhandle. Snow totals up to 2 feet." HAHAHAHAHAHA what a freaking joke. We got NOTHING. Just a small amount of rain and that was it. And people wonder WHY I am so skeptical. 

IF we do get any snow, I will get photo's of it.

Facebook really needs to go by their own standards

A friend on Facebook brought it to his friends attention about a group on Facebook allowing porno and beastiality. He posted the link and being curious, I checked it out. OMG!!!! There was so much of it in the group, I nearly passed out. Plus get this................the group is an OPEN group. So ANY teen under the age of 18 can see this group. I was so appalled by the content that I felt sick. Sick video's and seriously graphic pictures. Child porn was horrid within this group. Several people have reported both the group and it's contents, but yet Facebook REFUSES to remove it. 

Now here is were I find Facebook to be screwy as hell..............I create a group called "Facebook's Most Extreme". Set it to "Secret" and allow members to post nude pictures. BUT not one member EVER posted any child porn or beastiality. THAT group gets shut down. But yet a group that has this shit in it and is an open group is allowed to remain on Facebook? Smells seriously fishy. 

I don't care if I do get kicked off of Facebook. That group HAS to be taken down.

R.I.P. Jim West

My heart cries as I learned the passing of one of the greatest persons I knew. Jim West passed away this morning of a massive heart attack. I didn't even know he had heart problems, that is if he had them. 

I met Jim last year at High Country Live in Calhan, Co. His joy and enthusiasm was contagious and he was that ray of light in any room. I had seen Jim on video for 2 years via NAN. When I first heard the term "Kilt Man" I almost spit my soda out. I was like who?what?where? Well it turned out to be Jim. He made all those watching laugh. Jim had a kind heart and I seriously doubt he would ever harm a person. He was a "People" person. I thoroughly enjoyed his company at the live show. He even helped me put some of my models on tables that they(the models) needed to be on. I didn't ask him to help, he just did it. Am I happy he did? Hell yes. 

Jim will be missed in the hobby and will NOT be forgotten

Haunting past.........oh boy

Good morning everyone. I hope your weekend is very productive. Normally I post just about everything that is either bothering me or interests me. Well, last night I my past caught up with me. Not any childhood past, but photo showing past. 

I still use messenger(yea I am seriously aging myself here)and I was talking to a few friends that I hadn't talked to in many years. Well, I get a notification that a user needed to talk to me and it was urgent. So, I figured I would see what it was about. I now really wished I hadn't.

This person immediately started telling me that I had to get out of the hobby. Here is the convo
"GypsyColt: You really didn't think I would see that you are STILL showing with crappy photo's? Didn't I tell you years ago to leave the hobby? Your photo's are not worth the paper they are printed on and now your into digital photos? I told you that your models were crap. You CAN'T customize worth shit and your skills are just shit. Yes I seen your photos on Google. All are just crap and need to be deleted off the internet. I can't believe that you didn't take my threat serious. I bet your shitty models get DQ'd alot too. Well they should. They DON'T belong in any photo shows let alone live shows. If I had thought about it when I had your shitty photo's, I would have BURNED them up. I am a qualified judge and had EVERY FUCKING RIGHT to DQ ALL YOUR MODELS. Now do you have anything to say about that?"

No I didn't respond. I didn't want to give this person the pleasure. My temper shot up like a bullet out of a gun. I figured that if I had responded, I would have said something I would regret. So I just hit the ignore button. 

I know who this person is and yes she did judge my photo's back in the early 90's when I was just learning how to take photo's. I didn't have a good quality camera at the time and just used what I had. As for my CM work, I was learning that too. I taught myself the art of blending etc just by looking at other peoples photos. No I am not a big name artist. I didn't ever plan to be. I just cm for the pleasure. Yea so a few of my models had found new homes and to this day the owners are still happy with them. But when this girl shows up years after the fact, it pissed me off.

I don't sit and tell someone that their photo's suck. I give advice to help improve. Yes, I read to improve my own photo's. But to sit there and tell a potential photographer that her photo's suck is just seriously wrong. 

Not all my photo's are great, I know that. The old photo's that I do have are used mainly for my web site. I don't show them. And when I do show them, they go in a special class just for them. 
I have since blocked this person on messenger and also reported her for the comments that she posted. I love to learn to better my photography skills when I can. It's called Trial and Error. We all can't just point and shoot and have a photo that kills. It takes time and practice. Oh well, she is out of my way and I hope that she don't decide to try to friend me on either facebook or google +. I don't need her kind constantly belittling me over something that happened decades ago. 

NAN.............come and gone

Well, as the title says, NAN has come and gone. No my horses didn't place at all. I pretty much knew they wouldn't. Oh well. At least they had a chance to experience a large show. The person who proxied them for me got a few top 10's. Congrats to her for that. I was looking the results over and once again, I noticed that a few showers(who remain nameless) had more top tens and champions with lots of models. I guess it is these showers who go to several shows a year with the same horse. Or the judges just think that their models are totally worth the high placings. Oh well. No there won't be a "Next time" for my horses. In fact, any cards I get from now on will be discarded. No I won't destroy them, I will just put them in an envelop and put them away BLANK. I am now going for points NOT nan qualification. 

I know some of you who read this will object, but if you have been burned as many times as I have, you would see it my way. Yes I have a hand full of models that get first and second placings, but that is it. The rest are like............."Oh it is her horses.............place it under 4th place cause she is to stupid when to stop showing"

Yes that is how I feel at times.
