Well, here it is.
1. I am now slowly getting back into the hobby. I wont throw myself in completely until we have a new home to live in and Daniel has a full time job. Yes I do a bad thing today(bad by Daniels standards), I went and bought a new model. I have posted a picture on my forum. here is the link to my forum. Any non members will be limited to it. So if you LOVE the Paint breed(model and real) be sure to register and check it out what your missing.

It has a new look cause today I was updating it greatly. Plus I did post it on my Yahoo Group and on Face Book.
We do need members and judges there. Plus the first member to reach 200 posts will become a mod. Yup I need them as well.
Well until next time

Well was able to get my internet back thanks to my brother - in -law. As most everyone knows, I have stepped back from the hobby. Reason is cause at the time(back in May), my hubby took a job that required us to live in a 15ft camp trailer. Well we did and plus the bank stole $750.00 from our checking account for the mortgage payment. They refused to return it even after we told them that they didn't have the authority to do the transfer. So when it was all said and done with, they have foreclosed on the house. It was sold at an auction recently for less then what it is worth. So thankfully we don't have to pay the difference. Oh well, that house needed some MAJOR repairs done and we didn't have the time or the money to fix it. We came up with an estimate of nearly $30,000.00 in just the repairs. That didn't include the labor that we would have had to put into it.
As for the hobby? Well, until we either get a new house in a different state(can't stand the town we are currently living in) or just rent out a house/apartment. What I mean by a different state is that we both want to move to Flagstaff, AZ. The country there is awesome. Trees everywhere and yes I know it does snow, but hey that is what having smarts and a great 4 x 4 is for. Plus it makes for great winter scenes.
As for my website, I will be using Yahoo Web hosting. The price is right and for $7.95 a year, who can beat that? As soon as I rebuild it using sitebuilder, it will have less photo's. BUT here is the good stuff. Each horse that does have a photo by chance will have a page for themselves. It will be better than the old site.
Oh as for my Arab Presentation sets, I will get back into making them as soon as we get our lives straitened out. Yes Kollean, I do have your sets, they are just packed away(Daniel did that on purpose......LOL)
Well until laters.

RIP Mom
At 2:00pm PST my mom took her last breath yesterday. She passed away peacefully and not in any pain. When my brother called, I had asked him what really did cause mom to pass away and he said that her lungs were to far gone to substain any air. Besides smoking for more years than I can remember, she also had Pneumonia. Evidently thou the she had the Pneumonia for quite some time.
Here is what conspired to her passing away.
May 14 - 16: Mom wasn't feeling to good. Hardly ate and when I talked to her on the phone the 15th, she said that she just wasn't feeling like she normally did. I told her to go to the doctors. She said she would the following Monday.
May 18: A neighbor's husband who delivers the newspapers, knocked on mom's door to give her the newspaper. Mom never answered the door. He then went home and told Jan (his wife, mom's friend). Jan then called mom's house and didn't get an answer. She tried 2 more times, but still no answer. She then decided to go to mom's house where she and her husband found mom, lying half way on her bed. Her nasal cannula wasn't in her nose(yes mom was on oxygen), it was down by her chin. Mom was cold, shivering and blue due to lack of oxygen. Jan and her husband then called 911 and had the ambulance pick her up to take her to the hospital in Pahrump (NV). The hospital then had mom transported to Las Vegas where they found out that she had Pneumonia and poor oxygen in her blood.
May 19: My sister call's me and tells me the bad news.
May 20 - 22: Mom's condition slowly deteriorates. We hope that mom gets better but we are absolutely clueless to mom's condition. We do know that mom's kidneys were damaged at the time she was found.
May 22: Vincent, my brother calls to tell me that mom was having severe tremors and that the hospital sedated her with morphine to help her rest.
May 23, 12:05am: Hospital calls my sister and brother back to the hospital to give them the grave news. Mom's conditions worsens and the outlook is grim.
I text message my sister to find out what is going on, but she wouldn't say much.
May 23, 4:54pm(cst): My brother calls me to let me know that mom passed away at 2:00pm (pst).
She is now in heaven with my dad who had passed away December 27,2007.
Mom was 71 years old.
As soon as I find a good picture of both her and dad, I will post it. Plus I will be doing a "Memory" video of them, Just like I did for our son.
I will miss mom terribly but that is just the way god wanted it. It was her time to go home. She maybe gone, but I won't ever forget her.

Crying for days
This is totally off the subject of model horses and I find it quite important to post here.
I found out Tuesday of this past week that my mom had been sent to the hospital. Well in the time she was admitted till now, all I have been getting were updates from time to time. Well, Last night at midnight PST, The doctors called my sister and brother and told them that mom took a turn for the worst. Her body is slowly dieing and some parts are now shutting down. Her kidneys were already damaged when she was first found in her home by a neighbor. They don't think that she will last more than a few days at the most. So now I am sitting here, waiting to hear from my brother. When we were talking, he was trying NOT to cry, but I told him that no matter what he was to cry. That was our mom lying there in a hospital bed, dying. It pains me to know that I can't be out there for this, but I got to thinking about it and I want to remember my mom as she was before going to the hospital. I don't want the memory of her lying in a bed with IV's and tubes. It isn't so much as the money situation we are in, but the fact that it is the memory. I know I wasn't there when my dad passed away 1 1/2 years ago. But his death was a total surprise. Mom's is expected. Sometime this week I am going to try to find a good picture of both mom and dad and post it here.
Oh I can't go on for now, crying hard.

My presentation sets.
As requested by a fellow blogger, she asked me nicely to let my Arab presentation sets be seen. I do have to admit, they don't get much publicity and yes that is my fault. I have been doing these sets off and on for about 4 years and it wasn't til last year when I showed them to Kollean. She was hooked. So we worked out a trade deal. One of my sets for a CM SM by her. Here are some pictures of the sets that I have currently finished and have sent off to Kollean, Plus one's that are already in her possession.
Here is the first set I did for Kollean. She named it "Black Flame".
Understandably cause it does look like Black Flames shooting downward.
Anyway, she sent me a sketch of how she wanted it done(which I still have).
It took me about 2 weeks to actually finish it. I know that 3 tassels had to be replaced due to mis-measurement. My bad. Then I had to shorten the tie's on the breast collar cause I had braided them to long. Fixed. Then I had to figure out HOW to do a tri-angle of tassels. That wasn't to hard to do.I don't know if you can see it in this picture of the "Tri-Angle" tassels on the browband.
Don't worry thou, There is another set on here that does show it.
I also remembered this wasn't the very first set I did for Kollean. I did a set that has her stable colors. How could I forget? I guess old age is really creeping in fast. LOL
Here is the first set.
As you can see, I really out did myself. But Kollean did say she wanted lots of beads. So I went bead happy. Kollean is one happy camper.
The next few sets I had done on the side when I wasn't working on Kollean's sets and when I showed them to her, she laid claim to them. I was going to sell them by means of either "Auction Barn" or mXc. But I didn't even get that far. Anyway, here are some sets that now belong to Kollean. As promised at the beginning of this blog, I would show you my lastest finished work.
It is called "Forest Ice". Yes it almost has the same concept to "Black Flame" but there are so many differences. Just looking at it you will be able to tell them. Oh also you will be able to see my "Tri-Angle" tassel. Easy after you learn to place them just perfectly.
Oh also, I do not and will not put chains for a nose band. I find them to be a harsh way for fanciness. I braid the nose band for the finish of the model. CM or OF, my nosebands NEVER blemish the finish. BTW it isn't hard for me to add coin's, etc.
Well enjoy.
Oh you can set my prices at:
Pied Piper Ranch

Udate on the cm's
Well was finally able to get some better photo's of the cm's that I am doing. Well at least 2 of the 3.
First on is my NSH mare. I still have the hooves to fix and finish, Her eyes need to be detailed out and finish the bottom part of her tail. Anyway, here are some better pictures.
Now see isn't she awesome???
Now here is a much better picture of the black Gem Twist that I am working on. I still have a few kinks on him to finish up. He is for sale. I am asking $75.00 ppd
As always comments are welcome but not in high demand :)

NSH model Almost done
As always waiting to get to one place to get the supplies was NOT wasted.
I used that time to get my few newest cm's done or at least the very last stage.
I used that time to get my few newest cm's done or at least the very last stage.
Here is my NSH mare. When I first started repainting her, I was going to make her a dark bay. But the color wasn't working out right, so I decided to make her a chestnut. The base coat I have on her turned a rather nice shade of red/orange. Can't say I didn't go for it. I then mixed up some Burnt Umber, Raw Umber and Black.
VOILA!!
A nice rich dark chestnut. With high whites. She is chromed out.
As you can see here, that I didn't put to much on her face. I figured that a star and a small greyish snip was just fine. I will be showing her at Red Earth Live. But if your interested in purchasing her. Let me know.
Well until laters with more updates

Any Gem Twist lovers??
New for 2009!!
I don't have any "Right Now" pictures of the models that I am working on, but I do have some that show the first stages.
As you can tell from the picture above, I am working on a cantering welsh pony. She was going to be a black/white tobiano Paint pony, but due to a fall from my desk and the paint scratching. I am going to strip her and redo the paint.
As you can see with this picture. I am working on a resin that I got for $100. It did have a broken leg, but that was easy to fix. It is amazing what super glue, wire and epoxy can do. He is currently being painted a dark dark bay tobiano Flat shod TWH stallion.
It did take a while to get his hooves fixed. I love this guy thou. Thomas Bainbridge did a wonderful job on him.
